Yomper

“The Yomper” stands outside the old Royal Marine barracks in Eastney Portsmouth, it depicts Royal Marine Peter Robinson during 40 Commando’s troop march toward Port Stanley during the Falklands Conflict in 1982. The statue has been present since 1992 and was created by sculptor Philip Jackson.
